Big Hearts ABA

About Us

Big Hearts ABA focuses on providing gentle, trauma-assumed Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. We prioritize learning through engaging activities

Big Hearts ABA focuses on providing gentle, trauma-informed ABA. This means that we eliminate using certain strategies and interventions that may contribute to existing trauma history. There are so many ways to teach, and we believe focusing on building strong, reinforcing relationships is the best way. Here, at Big Hearts ABA, we carefully select effective interventions that put respect and dignity for your child above all else.

Meet Our Staff

Kimberly Renoncourt

Owner & Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

“I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst , but I am also a parent. I know how important it is for anyone that comes in contact with your child, to show just as much kindness to your child as they would their own! This is why I started this company, to put compassion back into young learners making progress!”

Lauren Cezus

Office Manager

“I have been lucky to be apart of Big Hearts ABA since January 2021. I have always had a passion for children and their well being, and previously worked with children for 10 years. I have the opportunity to keep things organized, work with amazing people, and still be home and present with my 8-year-old daughter.  It’s been rewarding to see the work that is done behind the scenes, as well as on a daily basis with the children. There is no surprise where the name “Big Hearts” comes from. Everyone is working so hard and from the heart to assist all these beautiful children and families reach for the moon.  I look forward to witnessing the continued growth!”

Janea Hanson

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

“I have worked in a variety of settings, including in-home, in school and most recently in teleheath. What I love about what I do is seeing how much the kids learn and grow! I recently finished my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis and am currently undergoing my supervision to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst!”

Christie Jean-Louis

ABA Therapist

“I love to work as an ABA therapist because there’s a moment of growth literally every minute during a session. Working with a child in general shows you how to be patient but working with a child in this field shows you how to use some functions of your brain you didn’t know existed. It’s important for children to be able to express themselves, show the world who they really are so to be able to help them find the right tools to do so is a very big opportunity.”

Jason Larose

ABA Therapist

“Enjoy working with the kids and teaching them new skills. Then after teaching them the new skills watching them excel at it.”

Renee Alexander Robles

ABA Therapist

“Being in the Behavioral Health field for over 10 years I have learned about and practiced many different treatment strategies. ABA is definitely my favorite method of treatment as you get to see and celebrate the progress being made consistently. It’s very rewarding to see the impact that recognizing these successes has on one’s self-confidence and independence.”

Lucretia Butler

ABA Therapist

Hi there! My name is Lucretia Butler and I am currently a BT at Big Hearts ABA. I’ve been working within the field of ABA for 3 years now and I fully enjoy every day! Since I was little and also can remember, I’ve known and owned a thriving passion for working with kids and especially those with special needs.

As a BT, every working day is different. There is lots of planning involved and some days on the job may prove more challenging than others but that is the beauty of this profession. Every day, I am given the opportunity to help another individual learn, grow and reach goals that may have seemed unattainable but within our journey and work together, they are also teaching me and pushing me to grow in new capacities as a therapist and advocate. Not only do I get to be a part of and witness firsthand their positive changes and overall independence but I also gain a little friend while we work together and who doesn’t love making friends?

Marlene Torres

ABA Therapist

I’ve been working with children for four years. Two years in a school setting and two years as a BT. My favorite part is being able to see the child gain independence and to see the progress and skills being learned that can assist the child’s life everyday”.
